More works by John Lotton

Beyond the free-form sculptures that John Lotton created in the 1980’s, he is also well known for the magnificent, heavy vases that he created up until his retirement from glass blowing.

Having visited Sarah and John Pacini’s home, I can tell you that they have some of the finest John Lotton pieces that have been made, and this piece is without a doubt one of them!

Without this photo (which I call the “Pug in the Jug”) it’s difficult to imagine how large this piece is.

This monster piece stands 15” tall and measures a whopping 15” wide!

This massive piece of art was created by John Lotton in 2003 and resides in Sarah and John Pacini’s collection.  Sarah and John know their John Lotton pieces (and their Pugs!)  Thanks for the great photo, John and Sarah!

Here are another fantastic pair of John Lotton pieces from Sarah and John Pacini’s collection.

The black vase on the left was created by John Lotton in 2001 and stands a proud 19” tall.

The clear vase on the right was crafted by John Lotton in 1996 and stands 14-1/2” tall.

Having seen them in person I can tell you that they are both phenomenal pieces.

The more different flower colors found on one of John's pieces, the more collector value it will have.
