The Early Auction Company is holding their next Auction on April 13, 2007.

And The Lotton Glass Club will be there for all the fun and excitement!

We will be hosting our Second Annual Meeting at a pre-auction event on Thursday, April 12th at the Sheraton Cincinnati Airport Hotel, 2826 Terminal Drive, Hebron, Kentucky 41048. Phone (859) 371-6166

And our special guest will be none other than Charles Lotton himself!

I spoke with Charles Lotton over the course of the past week and as club members we are very fortunate because Charles has agreed to come to our club event in Cincinnati and speak to our group! I cannot think of anything more exciting! This is going to be a wonderful event and experience for all who attend. This really is an important historical event in our glass world.

So few glass collectors have the opportunity to meet and spend time with the artist whose work they collect. As you all know, Charles Lotton is THE premier glass artist of his time. This is an excellent opportunity for us to spend some time with Charles and listen to what he has to say.

I don't know everything that Charles will speak to us about, but I do know that he has an exciting announcement about a new line that he's created, and he will also be available for a question and answer forum. Charles will have books available for purchase as well as some of his select works of glass art.

We will have a conference room available to us between 1-7pm. Structured club events will take place between 1-4pm, and the room will be available for casual conversation until 7pm. Our meeting room is located close to where the auction will be held (just down the hall actually) so members are also encouraged to preview all of the glass that Early Auction will have for sale on Friday and Saturday . The auction preview technically runs from 4pm – 7pm, but I know that Steve Early is flexible regarding the 4pm start time.

The Sheraton Cincinnati Airport Hotel is the only hotel located at the airport. As their guest, you’ll enjoy a complimentary airport shuttle and free parking. Long term parking is also available for a daily fee. Make yourself comfortable in our 177 guest rooms and suites. With an indoor pool, exercise facility, and full service restaurant and lounge, they'll make sure you have fun and enjoy your stay. Room rates for club members should be $89 a night-- they have to mention Early Auction rate.

We plan on having a room for the Club from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the hotel where we can have a few guest speakers, learn about and view some great Lotton pieces, and catch up with old friends. At 4:00 p.m. we are invited to preview the Early Auction pieces also at the hotel. After the preview, we are all invied to have dinner with Steve Early! Don't miss this fun event!
